Travel day #57 stats

On February 14, 2024, Scott and Rita set sail from Nassau to Bimini, encountering some discomfort but managing the journey well. They reached Bimini and experienced a slightly frightening incident ashore. Their planning was mostly successful, with minimal deviations from their intended schedule. The trip covered 142 miles in 17 hours and 43 minutes.

Scott here. We are back in the USA!! Actually 😢, I want to go back already. I will do my travel state updates tomorrow after s we get settled someplace. We are currently on the hook in Fort Lauderdale.

We decided to leave a day early. The weather seemed to be good. A friend left in the morning and said it was rolly but not too bad. We will see if it stays that way. 🙏🏼 We should hit Bimini around 3:30 am then decide whether to keep going or wait until Friday.

Rainbows – No Rain

The rainbows today have been brilliantly breathtaking! These are my favorite. I cannot remember a time when I saw five rainbows in one day. Plus, it didn’t even rain! God is the BEST artist ever! We have seen more rainbows while in The Bahamas than I ever have in a whole year in Wisconsin!
