Scott Gregory

Scott Gregory retired October 31, 2022 from a 33+year of law enforcement with the last 20 years as the police chief for the Town of Madison, WI. The Town was dissolved on October 30, 2022 with a border agreement between our two neighboring cities. It was time for me to retire anyway.

I bought a boat in 2017. It is a 1999 Maxum 4100 SCA and have been learning to be able to complete the Great Loop. Rita and I married again in 2018 (we divorced in 2012, what I call the dark years.) We have had the plan to take a year or two and do the Great Loop, but I really hate the snow and wanted to leave WI for the winter. So, we bought an RV to travel in for the winter before we start the loop.

Jazzy

I am Jazzy! Scott & Rita belong to me and pretty do what I want them to do! They think I came from Alabama from a family that lost their home and couldn’t keep me. Some farmer guy adopted me, but that didn’t feel right so I took off running on day 1 and he took me back to some place with a bunch of dogs.

In my hotel (Janesville Human Society) Scott & Rita showed up and all the other dogs were trying to get their attention. So, I just laid down, crossed my front paws and looked glamorous! It isn’t the loud ones that get the adaption paperwork! Rita didn’t think my old Alabama name fit me, Whitney, so they asked if they could call me Jazzy. I liked that! I am a Jazzy kind of girl so it worked for me!

We tried living on the boat for most of 2022 and I really liked that. I could see all my boat friends and a lot of people took photos of me sitting on the bow of the boat with my legs crossed. I always looked pretty for them! Now, we are driving round in this big car like thing they call a RV. I am not sure about it, so I just lay at Mom’s feet while we are driving around. The good thing is all the new smells I get ALL time and the new friends I get to make at so many new campgrounds.
