The boat has been left floating in Belhaven, NC. They have a short list of work to do and will bring her on the hard before July 1.

Our new to us car brought us back to WI easily enough while pulling a U-Haul trailer. We made the 17+ hour trip in two driving days.

The drive was a little longer than expected as we didn’t want to go through any tolls. It brought us through some interesting places in North Carolina on a couple of small two lane roads with no shoulder. And, we made it through Chicago with no tolls as well. Who knew you could do that??

What is the first thing you do when you get to WI? You stop at Kwik Trip? 🤣😂🤣

We are pretty much moved into an apartment for the summer.

What is the second thing you do when you get back to WI after being gone for 7+ months?

Hair cut!!

Rita did a great job with the cut on the boat, but this one is so much better! it is amazing what some training and experience can do!!

With very few exceptions this will be one of my last posts until we are back on the boat or in the RV!
