Scott here. Today I am leaving the Morehead City Yacht Basin and heading to our final destination, for a while, to Belhaven. This is a sadder day for me than Rita. But I am excited because she is so excited to spend time around family.
Don’t get me wrong, I am happy see family, I just enjoy the travel more that she does. And that is OK!
As I will be traveling alone (I don’t count Jazzy as she doesn’t help!) I expect to travel a little faster today. My plan is estimating 10 mph. Here is a side note, this will be the longest travel time on the boat for me alone.

There are a few shoaling areas, one confusing area and the red/green markers will change sides at one point on today’s trip.
