Scott here. Today we traveled from Carolina Beach to Morehead, NC. I have to admit it was really nice setting the autopilot and just going. Check the chart every 15 minutes to make sure we are on track, but one of us is always on watch make sure we don’t hit anything.

The weather was perfect. Light wind behind us, a few waves, and some swells to make it look beautiful.

Getting into the Beaufort/Morehead area was easy and interesting to look at the beaches and businesses. Our marina is just after the bridges and to the left. They talked us into the marina and where our slip is and docking was pretty simply. It was tight, but doable.
