Travel Day April 7, 24 (Hilton Head to Fenwick Island) Travel Day #70 and stats

Scott here, trying to get caught up again! Today (well technically yesterday but lets pretend I typed this yesterday!) We went to church and had a great service said good-by to family and went back to the marina. It was great borrowing a truck, we were able to get some groceries and make it to church on Sunday.

But, it is a travel day and we need to keep moving! Just another week of travel days and we will be on an extended travel break! We are off to another anchorage in the middle of nowhere.

The travel day was pretty easy. We had little to no wind so getting off the dock was super simple. There was one other boat in our anchorage. We simply went ahead of that boat and dropped anchor. The current was running about 2-3 mph so it was pushing us and we had to bring the anchor up and drop it a 2nd time. It set right away and we were good.

I do my engine room checks and we took Jazzy for an early walk. We planned to leave early so it was OK. We would have walked longer, but the flies were super bad. But, she did her duty so it all worked out OK!

Here was the plan and actual stats.
