Scott here. Another low key travel day. In one spot the wind was pushing us around and of course this was an area that was very shallow outside the channel. We made it though!
On the way we thought we would stop early and found an anchorage that looked good. Charts had getting into the creek pretty thin but with a route to get in, but once in we only had 4-5′ of water. We carefully backed out and decided to go to our original anchorage.
We made it to our spot without incident and found a spot we both liked. Grabbed a bite to eat and looking at the sky I thought I better get Jazzy’s walk in. We made it back to the boat just in time as a hard down pour came with some very strong wind.
Wind is forecasted for 20+ mph for Sunday. We are planning on spending the day here and continue on to St. Augustine on Monday.
How did the plan go?
