Bahamas to US

That was 32 crazy hours! We left Nassau at 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday. While waiting to get to the fuel dock, we saw a sting ray leap out of the water twice just like a dolphin! We had struggles at the fuel dock. Had a long and mostly rolly-rocky passage to Bimini with arrival scheduled for 4:30 a.m. 😳 Anchored for a few hours, and anchoring in the dark is not fun. After a crazy dinghy situation taking Jazzy to the beach, we headed to the US.

This was another long and rolly-rocky passage that came with a military helicopter circling us twice while we were in international waters, a very large unidentified floating object off our starboard side, a huge dolphin sighting, and being boarded by US. Customs while on approach to Ft Lauderdale.

At 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, we settled in an anchorage, but we have no power and no running water. We do have a power pack to keep the important devices charged and containers of water for the necessities of life like brushing teeth and flushing toilets and drinking.

That’s the briefest summary I can do before this device dies. It’s nonessential so it won’t get charged until tomorrow. It’s an interesting life we lead, and a very blessed one. Sweet Dreams y’all. We are exhausted and grateful 🙏🏻❤️😴
