Scott here. This one is a shot in the dark, like most of our plans from now until we get to Bimini – unless we cross back from Freeport. We are making this up, sort of, as we go!
Today’s plan was yesterday’s plan, but after finishing our errands we decided to stay put. The wind picked up and well, we just can so we are stayed put got the day.
So, today we are going to head to Black Cay. We will stop and pick up some fuel on the way up,at the marina we stayed at in December. We have been running the genny a lot, so better safe than sorry.
There are a couple of things we would like to see in that area, so we may be there for two nights, or three nights. All I really know is a cold front is coming and we need to make sure we have a safe anchorage this weekend from easterly winds. Thankfully, most of the anchorages I have chosen should be fairly safe.
When I say “cold front” I don’t mean WI cold, I really mean it is going to be windy, around here it is called a cold front I guess.
