Scott here. This has been our destination from the start. Christmas in the Bahamas with all three kids and six grandkids. They will be in their Airbnb next week. We are so excited.

As you may know the weather will really suck for the next 5-7 days. At least for traveling on a boat. So, this was our only day to make it to our destination. The weather didn’t look horrible; 12 mph wind with 2’ waves, 2’ swell with a +5 second interval. I have learned you want the interval time to be twice the wave height. We were going to be taking the wind on our beam for a few hours, but we have had worse. (Read our Nassau to Hawksbill post!).
