Today, I’m going back to last week and our time spent in Clearwater. We had an absolutely wonderful time in Clearwater! It was especially good because we were able to visit with family multiple times. If you are blessed to have family like ours, you know how good these visits are for one’s spirit. The laughs, the stories, the energy, the love . . . we needed that. As an extra bonus, Dawn took us all over the place to do some shopping for provisions and stuff. Shopping at Costco was so much fun, and it was so so so busy! At one point, I said, “I still need to find the nuts.” Some woman passing by us, raised her hands, gestured to indicate the entire store and said, “Just look around!” I love random stranger comments. Do you ever do that? Do you ever just randomly insert yourself into somebody else’s conversation because you overheard a comment and couldn’t help but interject your own thoughts? I am guilty of that – a lot.

Also, Dawn introduced me to an app called Yuka. You can scan the barcode on foods, and it will tell you if they’re good or not and why. I’ve used similar apps in the past, but so many times they don’t have the item I’m scanning. I then tried to add said item, and never get a response with a rating. With Yuka, I got the response immediately. Anyhow, that’s my plug for that app for which I will receive no compensation other than hoping that I have helped one of you.
