Today we will leave Navarre Beach and travel to Santa Rosa Beach and stay in one of the anchorages. Our stay at Navarre Beach was a little rock and roll, but overall we were happy it. The food was excellent and it was a great location.
We are slowly learning more about tides. We came in yesterday at low tide and will be leaving around 30% full tide, which is 0.9′ less than “normal.” I think!! Here the tide fluctuates about 2′ feet or so. That isn’t much, but it could mean a lot!! We have to learn a new way to tie up to a dock and a new way to tie fenders to keep the boat away from the dock. We don’t have it down yet but give us a month and we should know more!
