Scott here. Today, October 24, 2023, we went from Clifton Maraina to Safe Harbor Aqua Yacht Marina in Luka, MS.

The weather started out beautiful but ended up being a little windy when we docked the boat. Not Heritage Harbor Ottawa windy, but wind none the less. Most of the day we were on Kentucky Lake, then after the Pickwick Lock we were on Pickwick Lake, and that is where we are for the next 3 nights.

Lets check my planning for the day shall we?

Total Time: 7:53 hours (6:23 travel time + 1 lock) ACTUAL 8:11 hours
Distance: 57.6 miles ACTUAL 58.4 miles

I am thinking that Rita is going to catch on that when we plan to leave, we should really be ready to leave 30 minutes before! Don’t say anything to her!! LOL

We are on another set of “days off” here. Only three though, then we will have a few days to get to Demopolis, AL where we will have 2 off days then a run to Mobile, AL where we don’t have anything figured out yet.
