Travel day #9

All righty now. Time to travel the Mississippi River! We made it through the IL River without much of a fuss. BUT, it has admittedly felt like work at this point. Moving every day.

This year is a little different on the Loop with flotillas of boats sort of pushing us down river. It we take too much time we may have to many people in front of us and no place to anchor or get a slip so we have kept moving. That should end after we leave Alton, IL or the once we get to Green Turtle Bay in KY. Let’s see.

But, today will be a welcomed short day. We will go a whopping 16 miles! Sleep late, long walk for the dog in the morning. Maybe I can make some eggs for breakfast! Either way, it will hopefully be relaxing.
