Well after leaving Cincinnati a little early our stop at another Cracker Barrel is over. This Cracker Barrel was in Crawfordsville, IN. Time to head to IL. The plan is to spend two nights in our new marina parking lot.

We left at 10:00 am and yes, my phone said exactly 10:00 am, I try not to fudge my times! After walking the dog we pulled in our one slide we put out and took off. We only went one block to a Circle K to pick up a soda and coffee! This is where I marked our time to leave. Mileage was from Cracker Barrel.

Man it was windy!! It was a chore driving today and more than once the wind blew us onto the shoulder! We made it to Bloomington, IL where we had a planned stop at Walmart to pick up some groceries and a quart of oil for Mac. I picked up two quarts to have a spare on hand for him! After eating lunch in Walmart parking lot we drove 100 yards or so to Murphy Oil as Mac was thirsty. 45.354 gallons at $3.539 for $160.51. Once we hit Ohio gas really started getting expensive again! We spent 1:19 here and it was just as windy when we left!!

Oh well, we didn’t have far to go. We drove for another 1:10 and made it to our temporary home. All in all the travel day was 4:51 with 3:23 driving for 187 miles. I pray April 7 has no wind as we make our way back to WI.

Oh yea, here is a funny. As we are driving Rita asks how fast we are going. 59 mph I say now noticing all the semi’s and cars passing us. I like to drive 63 mph, but I slowed down when we hit a hard rain patch and forgot to speed up when the rain stopped. No wonder it takes us so long to get to where we are going!!
